Christmas Promise
Each Christmas Season, the Heart of Florida Environmental companies participate in the Christmas Promise, a charity event sponsored by its parent company, Waste Connections. Each year this event provides thousands of bicycles to needy children.
Vendors, employees and local officials contributed to the effort with Waste Connections matching their donations.
The 2019 effort resulted over 12,000 bicycles being distributed across the country. Our local management works with charities in their immediate communities to distribute the bikes that our employees assemble each November.
